What Henry is really asking in his politically incorrect way is where or not I am mentally challenged?

Myth, what myth - Dang Joe, look how many post ahead of me you have gotten?! Good to know - I'll try and remember the gin and vodka (no Bacjunca ("sp") or rum mixed in there Joe my friend?)
Are you mentally challenged my friend? I hadn't noticed it being an issue. Socially challenged perhaps, but certainly not mentally

As a matter of fact Randy I have my fair share of Flor de Cana gold rum from Nicaragua

Excellent my dear friend, I hated to think that an old pirate like you would be missing out on the rum!
FYI I have not taken the survey or read through the posts, but I'm on my way there now.

Ah, indeed I have not taken the poll, but it seems I did read through this thread or another one very much like it, as well as a linked thread by you on bioballs as well. Since I personally don't use bioballs, nor do I have an opinion on them (cause I never have used them), I elected to stay out of that one. Poll appears to be a recent addition and is a rather humorous add-on with a nice comeback by you I might add. Or perhaps its a new thread
. At any rate the poor fellow (or fellows) seems to be having a tough time with understanding the bioball concept, the protein skimmer, and the whole Joe's sense of humor issue
.

Well Joe, I don't know for sure - it's been set up and running for two years now, but every once in awhile I get a bit of a ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate spike. I'm sure it must be experiencing a cycle still. I don't understand it, I tear the aquascape down and reset it up every six months, but I'm absolutely sure that that has nothing to do with it. I simply can't imagine why it won't stabilize. Can you give me any suggestions which I can go ahead and ignore?

But Joe, I have to disagree with you here - I've got plenty of LR in my system, the LFS says 20# in a 65gallon reef system is more than adequate. AND
I add my daily dose of cycle, just like the LFS said. Obviously you sir haven't a clue!

BTW, did you ever get all those cool aiptasia nems sold? I was thinking of adding some more biodiversity to my system
.

Don't be confused Lorene. The info here is correct and info you got is also correct... Much depends on the type of fish itself. There is no way on earth I could feed my Triggers and Anthias, and several other species once a day or so...Just know your fish. It takes time and study, but soon you will have it down to a science. :)
