Fish Order

I'm in the understanding that you should not add more than one or two fish at a time to your tank. If this is so, why do some of the online stores give you a minimum spending limit on fish and inverts to make shipping free? I mean come on, I'm not going to buy a 30 dollar fish and then buy 140 dollars worth of crabs to get free shipping. Is there a way to acclimate and add 4 or 5 fish to a 90 gallon reef at once? Or is that dangerous to their health.

adding more that 1 or 2 fish at one time is not a good idea because it could be too much for your system to handel at one time and could cause an ammonia spike.

Yeah but this site has three fish that are not on the wish list. I know it will cause a spike, even this site pushes to buy though.

There is only a $75 minimum to get free shipping although it's really not free since they do charge a $4.99 "surcharge".
I do beleive the 75 minimum is reasonable.

Since you have a reef, why don't you also get a coral or sponge? Add to your snails? Get a duster cluster? Adding to the cleanup crew is always a good idea.
Don't add more than 2 fish at a time. That said, unless you want a mated pair, I would do it 1 at a time. Wait a month, then add more. Less ammonia, less chance of stress-related disease.
