Fish Selection

Ok it is time for fish selection. I really have nothing in mind besides a six line wrasse. I have let my tank cycle with 2 black molly's for about a month then i put in live rock(30lbs) 2 weeks ago and put in a relatively small cleanup crew. It consist of a coral banded shrimp, 2 turbo snails and a hermit crab. I only have a 39gal tank and i don't want to overstock it. So Now my problem is what other fish can i get 4 my realatively small tank and is it still to early to purchase them.

well there is alot of stuff you could keep in there so if you could come up with a list of things you like then we could give opinions on what would work together in that size tank...as far as if it is too soon to start adding stuff. well most likely it should be ok to add your first fish now however i would need to know your readings first...
i'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Dwarf angels are excellent additions, but your tank should be around 6 months old, so you can avoid problems. :)

Readings are
Salinity-1.023
P.H.-8.2
Temp-76
Nitrates-0
Nitrites-0
Ammonia-0
And as far as fish selection i just want something that looks good and is pretty hardy

Clowns would be a good choice, a pair of Percs would be nice. If you decide to go with a Maroon, add them last tho, because of aggression.
Firefish are great also. Very Colorful.
Goodluck.
Readings are great. Just add fish slowly to make sure they stay great.

You can go ahead and get the six line now. They are very hardy colorful and neat to watch.

The clowns are a great idea. They are beautiful addition to any system. Now I guess I should say that is just my humble opinion. Take a word of advice from someone who learned the hardway; take it slow, be patient, and read and learn all you can about the item before you make your puschase.

Watch that coral banded shrimp, they can get kind of territorial. And they might eat it's tankmates. Mine has eaten, snails, crabs and a royal gramma.

maybe a royal gramma, or a cool goby, a clown fish or anythign hardy. i think its safe to add a fish right now as long as it is hardy and not very big.
