fish selection

Hey guys I am wondering if these fish would work out i recently had a crash almost a month know since its been rebuilidng so i just started to make a fish list. This is a 55gal reef tank

3blue reef chromis
midas blenny
2 ocelarius clowns
A white talebrisstle tooth tang or the brisstle tooth tang with orange stripe or a yellow tang
cleaner shrimp
if all goes well a mandrin goby if i feel redy

i also have a 10gal tank and a 180 if i need to move anybody if they get too big so any help would be appreciated

A 55 gallon is iffy-small for a mandarin unless you can successfully train it to take frozen of pelleted food - not always an easy task.

If you can do a refugium, and stock it with copepods, wait about a year so you have a super abundance of them, the mandarin will be fine. The problem with them is that they ONLY eat copepods, and getting it to eat other foods is almost impossible (it's often just a happy accident).

really i usually add clowns first they usually do really well woith me

If the clowns pair up before you finish stocking, there's a good chance they will harass newcomers, and a 48" tank isn't very big if this happens.

Sorry I have to jump in Tang Police time, 55 is too small for any tang. And on the clowns a mated pair will came half your tank as there's and will defend it from any even you from entering. In my tank only the powder blue tang gets away with entering there nest area. He flies in and out so fast that got tired of try to chasing him.
