Fish Size

Probably a dumb question....but I know my freshwater fish would get bigger but be proportional to the tank. So they all grew but not enough to screw up the tank. Why do SW not do that? Just reading that a Queen angel can get to over 16", but what if you don't have the room for a fish that big...does it matter? Will it just keep growing? Why is that.

SW fish get stressed out a lot more than FW fish due to their larger needs. Most freshwater fish don't mind unless their conditions are really bad.
