i have a 40gal system with 1 boxfish and 1 tomato clown 2 anemones and 2 curly cues. i want to add a third fish. what kind of fish could i add that stays somewhat small and is attractive?
royal grammas are cool, as are black caps. you could look into a pygmy angel, six line wrasse, basically any coby or blenny, etc. do some reading and research and find out what you like. the boxfish is a real cool fish, but when he gets stressed out or dies he could release a poison that can do some serious damage to your whole system. bo
Yah, I would add something very small like a gramma or a goby. That's not a very big system you've got and anything bigger could easily upset the balance.

I'd go with a pygmy cherub angel. They're awesome looking, fairly cheap, and fairly hardy. Just make sure you have some LR for them to graze on...if no LR, don't get one.
