fish that eat isopod

Are there any fish that eat isopod? I think most of them are Sphaeromatid isopods. I have a new tank that has a ton of these things. Also are there any isopods that swim really fast that are good. I have just saw one swim out to get a piece of pellet fish food. I hope it is not one of the bad ones . The Sphaeromatid isopods are slow and just crawl around.
Thanks, Jeff

I have netted some. But my camera doesn't have a macro setting. The pics don't come out very clear. I know for sure all the ones I can see crawling around are Sphaeromatid isopods. From pics and diagrams I can even tell which ones are males. I am little concerned about the thing a saw come out and get the pellet food. It swam fast. I have one percula clown and cleaner shrimp in the tank for 3 days now. They look all right sofar. I would like to get something that might eat these they are kind of ugly to look at, or if anybody else has any ideas.
Thanks,Jeff

In the last couple of months I have been looking for pod-eaters myself, because of amphipods, which are the only type of pods I've seen in my 30-gal tank. The fish I have heard of are sixline wrasse, scooter blenny, and mandarin goby. I believe the mandarin goby needs the largest quantity of live rock to maintain it's voracious pod diet. My tank is too small for one of those, so I chose a sixline. Unfortunately the sixline didn't last long because it had a big fight with my royal gramma and they both died. On a good note, I think the amphipod population has leveled out is is not really a problem after all.

Forgot one thing. I know it's not proper to mix species from all over the world, which seems to be wreaking havoc in the natural world with invasive species, etc., but I was thinking I could get a free fish from around where I live - a mummichog, which are supposedly pod-eaters. Might be worth a try.

Wow, I just read on the sticky thread about Hitch-hikers that someone's Royal Gramma was eating pods. Maybe that's why mine fought with the sixline, over competition with the pods. I never saw my gramma eating pods so I didn't think he did.
