Fish trap

is the fish trap you can buy on swf.com ok? does it work good? or are there anybetter traps that are worth getting?

You could just cut the top off of a water bottle and reverse it. Then put some frozen brine inside the bottle. That should catch your fishies.

what about the glue and everything on the bottle? Did you take that off some how or was it ok to put that in the DT? Im trying to catch a engineer and a pajama.

I used the same bottle thing but I drilled 4 holes around the lip of it and attached with zip ties instead of glue...easy to get the fish out that way

Im more concerned about the glue from the soda wrapper.

I used the bottle trick to get seven damsels out of my tank. No harm from the glue. It didnt even peel off. I didnt want to use any chemicals on the bottle to try removing it. The bottle was only in there for a few hours anyways.
The water/soda bottle trick works great. Can take some time for the fish to get used to it though.
