fish trap

There was a thread on here recently about a fish trap. I am trying to catch 3 of my clowns and i cant find the thread..If anyboby can help I would appreciate it.

You can read that...so far I have not caught the darn damsels tough....I tried blocking things off today....and almost knocked half teh tank over...I freaken give up

I would take the whole tank apart...remove every rock...I would never let a fish win. That's just me.

Hey Flower....are you up for a road trip...lol
I might have to next week.....as much as this will pain me
I would do it this weekend, but my hubby is not feeling well...and well...I admit it....I will need help....

I can't drive on highways or I would...Sorry to hear hubby is under the weather. That's big tank you have there, and I would need help too. Maybe make a mini harpoon with a rubberband and toothpick...when they come to bite you......
I think there should be some kind of warning with damsels...fish stores sell them without a mention of how mean they will become.

OMG that is soooo funny...I actually have a harpoon type thing and tried it...I kinda felt guilty..(not for long) BUT I did not get them
I hate these fish...lol...If I am going to remove rock, it has to be with him here...YIKES.....hunting season starts shortly...NEXT WEEKEND IT IS

OH MY!! they are just clown fish not the "devil fish".
I want the $19.99 naso on SWF.com and Im trying to clear some things out. Plus im just waiting for something to happen with 5 clowns in the tank.

you may get lucky with the trap with your clowns....I have not been

Sorry we kind of highjacked your thread....I have an idea....clowns are corner huggers, at least the ones I have had always were. when the lights go out the fish just hover in a corner..with those stripes they would be easy to find hanging in a corner with a night light on. You may be able to quick net them when they settle down for the night.

Well i tried the trap and the clowns look at me like am and idiot. I put it next to the anemone andtried to cural them in there but they went in the out before i have a chance to do anything......sounds like...

SOOOOOO it's not just me then.....My killer damsels actually attacked the net i was trying to catch them with....

They all (i mean 5 orange and white and 2 black and white clowns) nessel in the anemone and stay there all night. do you think I might be able to catch them then??

hmmm...I bet you can put something over them/......worth a try

I will post pics soon but the clowns we wanted out were to smart for us. I went in with a net gently brushed the anemone and got the 2 big clowns and the 2 black and whites. so we decided to take the anemone out of the tank. I scraped him off the glass it was very easy cause he was laready on the move. and now i have him aclimating for the 90 gallon. my question is will bubble tips plant ther fooot in the sand or does it have to be on a rock?

I think BTA's prefer the rock...place it where you want it first,......BUT remember it will go where it wants
