Hi guys,
I had a question about Fish vs Corals. How much more ammonia do fish release vs corals?
If I kept an all-coral tank, how would the water levels be in a week as opposed to a fish? Thanks.
The Coral animals themselves generate the same amount on ammonia ounce for ounce as fish. The Net result is almost no ammonia for photosynthesizing corals because the Zooxanthellae in their tissues use up almost all of the ammonia produced by the coral.
