fish white spots

if you have a pic it would help greatly, but probably is ick.. read the top of the disease forum, beth has put some excellent information about it and what to do. also there is a seperate thread under it with pictures, this should help..

Most likely ich. If he is still eating, implement garlic onto his food to help him fight it off himself.
How did you put the KH buffer into the tank? Did you add it with it already dissolved in water, during a water change, or did you just add it right to the tank?? This is why the fish got the didease. Any drastic fluctuation of the water parametes will stress him out to the point where his immune system is greatly weakened.
