Where you at in Ohio? I am originally from a town called Findlay. Home of Brett Rothlesberger. Also, my girlfriend has family in Perrysburg.

Also, according to your measurements you have tied the world record for largemouth bass as well as blown away the smallmouth world record.

Since the first time I fished salt, I figured freshwater has nothing on saltwater fishing..The agression the fish show the battling for the fish. It's just incredible. I used to fish yellowtail off the coronado islands south of the border off cali/baja. I loved it.

You guys want to talk about fishing. I live on the St. Lawrence River and every year there is a huge Carp tourny tons of people come from England and everywhere even one of the dudes from Harry Potter, the red head. :notsure: Right down the street from my house there is a sand bar that drops off about 100 to almost 200 feet on each side and every year someone comes up here and catches what is thought to be the world record muskie. Last year two men caught muskies that were both over 70 inches!!! If you dont believe me go online and look up St. Lawrence fishing and try to find the muskies. I garentee you you have never seen anything like that. They fight them for more then three hours. Now imagine swimming on that sand bar and see one of those swimming right by you. Then we have some stergean (sp) they have been known to knock people off thier boats and capsize them. Nothign like the mighty St. Lawrence.

I don't like saltwater fishing because I'm weak. My dad and uncle go fishing every summer in the boonies of alaska and last summer they finally invited me to go with them. So I learned to fly fish and basically spent four days in the most wild place I've ever been catching and releasing rainbows and graylings. That experience has to be in my top 5 most amazing experiences I will ever have in my life. There is nothing more peaceful than knowing that you are temporarily completely isolated from all other human beings. It's an odd experience but one worth having.

I fish a lot of saltwater tournaments for dolphin, wahoo, and king fish. But my longest fight was on a 9 foot bull shark. I was using 50lb line and it took about 3 hours. My favorite fish to target is Tarpon. I'm close to Boca Grande, Tarpon capital of the world and have had hammerhead sharks eat a 150lb tarpon on my line. Check this out Tarpon jumping

I like catching not fishing. I think salt is much more exciting then fresh. So much more of a variety to catch. Deep-sea is the best.

I've only been deep sea fishing once I live to far away from the ocean... So by default freshwater its it for me.
