Fishy suggestions

I want to basically turn in the fish I have in my 75g and start new. It's (going to be pretty soon) an SPS dominated reef tank.
I have never been good with fish choices... I know all of the bread and butter fish like the back of my hand, but I want some fish stock list suggestions for my tank.
I like a diverse group of fish, but a good amount of larger fish (3 or so) in the 75g. I'm tired of not seeing much movement in my tank and I think guests would also enjoy a diverse group of fish to look at.
Thanks for the suggestions!

My wife read your post and had a one word response - wrasses. Of course she meant reef-safe wrasses. They are very varied in color, peaceful, active and full of personality. My current fave is our adult male red velvet fairy wrasse. It looks like a mix of razzberry, orange and blueberry sherbert and when he displays to that "other" male in the glass he is truly spectacular. At 4 inches long he would be perfect for your 75. We also think the yellow coris wrasse is an attention getter, but there are so many reef safe wrasses that mix well that you could make it a wrasse and SPS only tank. Also, don't forget my favorite saltwater experience - watching a shoal of blue chromis flitting around. You can watch them for hours. As a late addition, you might add a large gold stripe maroon - again great to look at and full of personality.

A group of Mandy's. Your tank sounds like it could handle them. At least until they take frozen. A male and maybe 2-3 females.there always on the move and active. If you want personality I like the fox face.

I like the idea of the wrasses as well. This might be something that I look into too.
What fish are you dead set against adding to the tank??

Against? Hmm. Preds of any kind. Eels, anything too poisenous especially because of the kid. Anything not reef safe, obviously. Ive been told a hundred times never to put angels in a reef tank but on rc i see some in gorgeous reef tanks all thr time. I love em' but dont know enough to mix them with other fish.
I like tangs, foxface and other larger fish. Bright colors like reds. I know your probably thinking a flame hawk might be nice but i plan on getting a few shrimp.
Could someone make an entire fish list for the tank?? Ill buy a fish a week or so.
I was thinking of putting in three yellow tangs at the same time. But im not sure at this point. Can anyone think of three tangs that would do well?

What about a flame angel?
Im thinking:
Yellow tang
Kole tang
Powder brown tang
Flame angel
Yellow watchmen
Blue stripe neon goby
Carpenters flasher wrasse
And i want a few interesting inverts as well. Skunk cleaners, a few mythrax, just some additional movement and life. Im tired of not seein much in the tank.

I love a flame angel. I have tried three and non made it out of my QT tank. The wife said I can't try again for a while. So I tried a Coral Beauty instead. Not as good looking as the flame angel, but I like having a dwarf angel in the tank.
As for the rest of the list. Three tangs may be pushing it... But I think that you could get away with it with good maintenance and a creative aquascape.
Love your list of inverts, skunk cleaners are my fave.
