Welcome to the boards! Without a picture of the fish it is very hard to tell what exactly happened. Do you have other fish? If so, how are they doing?

Yes i do a blue hippo tang and a puffer and they are just fine
Alright, I am glad that they are doing well. Don't buy more fish yet. Do you have a cycled qt? If not then buy one and cycle it. You will need it.

I just noticed in your profile it says that you have a forty gallon tank. Your fish will outgrow that tank. Did you ever notice them picking on, or chasing, the angel?

No he was never picked on at all even after he died i looked him over and he still looked perfect (no fins ripped off or signs of attack)

im going to buy a 75g when i get the rest of my tax returns, will that be better?
It will be a little better. If you can afford to go larger then you may want to think about it. What kind of puffer do you have? The hippo should have a 6 foot long tank to live comfortably.
