LOL....I love brussel sprouts

I would do less flakes.....feed teh frozen foods daily, and the flakes maybe 2x a week
I plan on feeding the frozen every day now. Cutting back on flake sounds fine.
I wonder if clownfish will eat nori...
Also, I'll be visiting let stores next week, so hopefully I can stock up on some other frozen foods then.
Maybe brine shrimp. Suggestions welcome.

Nori is usually made from Porphyra
, a saltwater seaweed. You don't need to buy seaweed designed for aqauarium use. I get mine from Wal-Mart. You just have to make sure the Nori isn't seasoned, just dried/roasted.
Dwarf angels natural diet is filamentous micro-algae. One of the key aspects to successfully keeping a dwarf is having an established tank, where the angel can graze from the live rock.
I'm not sure a dwarf angel would bother with land-based greens. Typically most public aquariums offer romaine lettuce to their tangs/other herbivore fish.
Good, nori is cheap and I can buy it without driving hours or ordering.
I'm starting to get more confident in the fact that it won't be too difficult to meet the needs of an angel, which is good.
Now I just need to get in the habit of feeding other foods. Starting tomorrow.

I never thought of feeding romaine. I feed my Flame Angel frozen mysis and dried green sheet algae. The Flame Angel, Blue Hippo, and Yellow Tang will break up the algae they pull off the clip together, usuing eachothers resistance to break off pieces. The Flame loves the TLF brand green algae. He does graze the liverock, and at first he nipped at the polyps of the Toadstool Leather coral. My suggestion is to just keep it well fed and it will thrive. Algae, and meat...Enjoy, they are soooo beautiful!

I also like to give them a treat of live macroalgae once a week, such as gracilaria.
