I have heard of a lot of cases of flame angels dying after trasport from lack of eating. has anybody here ever shipped a flame angel through saltwaterfish.com? and if so then did it die? did it do well and eat?
and was it completely red and no orange like a true Hawiian angel like the site says? any info on it

in any case if the fish does "go" within the 15 days is it a definate fact that swf.com will refund completely?

SWF will refund completely according to the 15 day guarantee. I did my first buy from SWF in the end of Nov and I bought a flame angel, purpleback pseudo, and 3 green chromis.
The flame angel and purpleback are doing great, eating fine, I bought frozen angelfish food for the flame, and they all love it. I also had 2 of the 3 green chromis die, and I have received guarantee vaucher for one already, it takes about a week to receive it though.
The flame angel was all red, and then after feeding him food and letting him get used to his environment he started to have orange appearing like in the picture! :happyfish

My flame angel is named Fonzi, and my purpleback pseudo is named MacGyver after he found a way into the sump chamber in the top of the tank when i didn't block the view.
MacGyver was so curious about the bubbles from the water overflow that he bypassed the net that blocked it and then made it past the filters into where the bubbles were unharmed by his journey! Which is why i named the rest of the fish after tv shows... three stooges are green chromis and thats the tank! :joy: :joy:

I put a bunch of filter sponge over the tube to the sump just for that reason of worrying about them going into a blackhole into a different chamber....
How freaked out would you be if you fell into a pothole and landed in china? lol

On another note... If I replace my bioballs in my megaflow model 3 sump pump with Live Rock pieces, How would that react with my system?
Here is a pic of my sump.
