flame angel questions

I plan to ad my last fish soon: a flame angel
Questions:
Some seem to have more vibrant colors than others. What to select?
Are they sociable. Will he/she swim with his/her tankmakes (5 Chromis, one damsel, 2 clowns and a YT)?
Do they hide a lot. Are they shy?
Any special feeding requirements?
All comments welcome.
Thanks

My flame was very shy the first week or so. Now he swims in and out of the live rock all day. He eats a varied diet. He eats algea sheets w/ my yellow tangs, then swims to the other end of the tank to eat w/ the chromis. He eats flake, frozen and algea sheets. Very vibrant colors and very active swimmer. Doesn't school w/ the chromis, but swims w/ them as they eat.
Great fish.

I just added one to my DT two weeks ago, and he is doing great with all tank inhabitants (fish, inverts and coral). He is a very busy fish, doesn't seem to stop working the lr and has been leaving my clam (mantle) and coral all to themselves. A month ago I added a juvi sailfin and the two swim around together all day. He never really hides.
As far as color, I think all species vary somewhat. I was lucky at my lfs, they got three in the day I purchased mine. All three where a little different. One had more yellow than orange. One had more purple then the others, I happened to pick the smallest one they had, it had a good mix of the above...brilliant orange and purple.
Oh, I feed mine brine, formula one and two flakes. Good luck, it's a great fish. :happyfish

good colorful fish, mine will pick on my sps occasionally (i think i fixed that with my tunze powerhead) but leaves my clam and lps alone, color comes from the location of collection my lfs supplier gets all of them from christmas island so they have minimal orange and more red dont know the locations for the ones that are mostly orange,
one thing with there color is the lighting of your tank when you get to the acintic side 14k plus the red shows more and when they are in a crisp white the orange is able to show through

I have a friend who leaving for Iraq soon, He has 1 Yellow tang in his tank which he is planning to store while he is gone. He wants me to take the fish, but I only have a 55g and the nearest LFS is over 3hrs away and they dont want it. The only option is to flush the fish if I dont take it and he would rather not do that.I know my 55 is a bit small for this tang and I have 7 other fish already. Any ideas? I would like to take it if possible
