i have just recently purchased a flame angel.. it seem very healthy.. bright color and eating fine.. it doesnt appear that it has any ick or anything.. but it seems like 1 or 2 of its scales are like they are shedding or something like popping out a little bit is this normal?.. my water quality is good.. just got it checkout at the LFS.. is it another form of disease for flame angels?... if anyone else has has a flame angel that could give me some insight on flame angels that would be great..
i got a FO tank with 2 clowns 1 hep tang and 1 coral banded shrimp

No, it is not really normal, but it doesn't necessarily mean that anything is wrong. It just may be a bit of damage from shippment, etc.
Keep an eye on it, as it can also be a parasite.

If you can add a piece or 2 of live rock every few wks, do it. It is the best thing you can do for the overall quality of your tank and fhis, particularly angels and tangs.
