Hey all,
I just found the greatest lfs by my job :)
SOOO much better than the ones I've been going to. These guys fish appear so much more healthy than any other place around here. Anyway, that has nothing to do with what I'm about to ask

I saw incredible flame angels for the first time. I NEED to have this guy in my tank :)
Are they hardy? Would they go with a huma huma, yellow tang, and damsel...
It would be my 4th fish in a 75 FO that I've had setup for about a year now...
Thanks a million in advance.
If he isn't compatible, I guess I'll just go with a clown trigger...
But that flame angel is incredible

What do they eat? Are they agressive?

Hey Mitch, Flames are truly incredible fish. Very hardy and will eat just about any food. Not very aggresive except towards other angels. I'm gettin' one in my reef next year. And also a clown trigger would kill all your fish if they are small.

a flame angel will fit in a lot better than a clown trigger with the fish you have. The flame angels like a lot of hiding places. They swim around all day looking for food and swimming in and out of the decorations-so just have a lot of hiding places for 'em.Feed him algae and angel formula 2 flake or frozen a few times a week at least.

I have a flame, finally. They are a beautiful fish.Mine is a little more orange than most so he is even more striking(to me). He gets along with everyone in the tank, including the coral beauty. They eat brine, flakes and the greens you feed your tang.I would be a bit worried about the trigger though.Depends on how big it is.SYTEVE

Thanks guys!!!
I'm gonna put him in, but I hope the trigger doesn't make short work of him ;-)
The trigger doesn't give the domino or yellow tang any problems, so maybe he'll be friendly to the flame angel :)
