Flame Angels JUMP out of tanks

I came back from a weekend with the gf and her family to find my flame angel on my power strip.

I'm sad, and I just wanted to let everyone know that they jump. Now I have a 75 gallon tank with a coral banded shrimp, 5 snails and 2 green chromis.
After I get some algae eaters I'm going to buy a new set of fish. Any Suggestions?

Get some eggcrate and cover your tank!

Yes, get some eggcrate, any fish is a potential jumper. It startled or stressed all will jump out of the tank. So it is best to keep it covered. Just don't use glass.

Yep, all fish can be potential jumpers in the situation when startled. A guy I know was just telling me his tang jumped out.

well where can i get egg crates from?

go to the lighting section at lowes....the flourescent panel light covers. it is sold in 2'x4' sections for $9
