Flame Angle Lifespan?

Hey my flame angle just passed on to the next life

What is the life expectancy on flame angles?
I had it for over 2 years. He was one of the first fish I ever bought and was the king of the tank. Now I will have to get another dwarf angle to fill his place.

was he full grown? i have know people that have had their for 4yrs. most likely it was his time to go. sorry to hear of your loss, beautiful fish

Sorry to hear that.....
I have a Flame Angle and would hate if it died. On a lighter note, you get to add another dwarf angle. Id recommend a Flameback. I wish I had one.

poop, i feel your pain
i just had to give my coral beauty a mercy.
he was also the first one i had, had him for 1 year.
last week, he just went on a hunger strike, and today got stuck to the powerhead.

thats the last fish i'm adding for my gf's tank.......
the one they sell by me have the most amazing colors, really deep red.... we are gonna wait 2-3 weeks and pop him in.....

I've had my Flame now for almost 3 years and he looks healthier than ever. My tank had been running for about 5 years before I added him. Hopefully He'll be around for awhile.
