Flame Hawk Question

I know you are not supposed to but has anyone tried putting 2 Flame Hawks together in the same tank?
My best friends tank crashed and all that survived was the flame hawk and rock crab. He is moving so he is not going to set it up again for while. Anyways I have his crab in my tank, and the hawk is in the tank but in a seperate container. The first 2 days they were checking each other out, now they could care less about each other. My tank is 140 gallon. Any suggestions, has it been done??
Thanks everyone:D

I kept Arc-eye and falco hawkfishes together in 20 gallon. The weird thing is that sometimes they get along just fine, and then all of a sudden they my arc-eye would chase around my falco like crazy. They are territorial fishes by nature. So I'd say it's not a really good idea. However, if you have a tank big enough and lots of intricate rockworks. It might work.

Thanks everyone, I am still deciding, they are really not showing any interest in each other yet, but they still seperated.

they will rip each other apart..........if you have 2 get out of there pod containers they fight like crazy......but while in the pods seem docile..........i have seen thousands of flame hawkfish and have yet seen two (of the same species) get along nicely...

Though they might seem to act very aggressively towards other hawkfishes, they rarely do any damage. Just chasing each around. My arc-eye didn't just attack my falco for no apparent reason. He only did so when falco got too close to his territory. If you can deal with occasional quarreling, then you should be ok.

yes but again those are dif species of hawkfish....you can't introduce two Flame Hawks and expect both to be alive in a month or two
