Flame Hawkfish in a 12Gal Nano

The nano is setup and was no fish in it. Few shrimp, crabs and snails. Shrooms, pollops and a few other goodies. I plan on puting a Perc in there as well. Will the Flame Hawkfish be ok in such a small tank?

:nope: I think that it would be very unhappy and unhealthy, and you would make a mistake in doing so.

I would definitely limit it to just the percula.

The shrimp w/b toast. Flame needs at least a 30g IMO.

I agree with flamehawk (appropriate name!) that a flamehawk would not be good at all for that that small a tank. He will be happy to consume your shrimps though!

Hmm, most hawkfish i have seen have been less than 2". but i have not seen very many
