Flameback Angel

Ok so i was at my lfs today and i saw this little fish that was shaped like the Atlantic Pygmy Angel i used to have (it got HLLE and died
). I asked wat it was and he said it was a pretty rare species from Africa called a Flameback Angel. He said that he only gets 1 in about every 6 months. I had him hold it for me so that i could do my research on it. I was just wonderin how rare they actually were. Thnx

They're not particularly hard to care for and have the same needs as most of the other dwarf angels. They're also not as common in lfs as their cousins (c. argi) the cherub angel and they are usually about double the price. Flamebacks here sell for around fifty bucks. Nice little fish given the right set-up.
It's not really a rare fish.

The argi pygmy angels (flame back, cherub angel, ect, ) can become extreeeeeeeeeeemely agressive to other fish introduced after them, even other species that are not pygmy angels. Make sure you are willing to be prepared for agression and watch your xenias and clams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be the last fish i add to my 33 so hopefully aggression wont be a problem. I doubt that he will be bugging anybody because my tomato clown is top dog in this tank. Everytime i stick my hand in the water he bites my and headbuts me.
