Can anyone tell me their phylum class order family genus and species?
Also what they eat, what eats them and if they are good for the home aquarium?

I believe they are a type of cowrie.....a type of snail....very colorful. I've never seen them in the hobby but I'm sure a google search could provide additional info.

In that pic it looks like it eating the Gorgonia (if that is what it is) so am I right in assuming they are not reef safe? It's definately a cool looking critter.
