flat back hex tank

i just got a flat back hex tank for free and i am trying to figure out how many gallon it is.

12"wide at widest point
7" wide at narrowest point

Is your tank made by DAS (dutch aquarium systems)? Mine is made by this company, and sounds like a similar shape.

i honestly have no idea it was given to me and i was told nothing about it other than it doesnt leak, lol, the equipment that came with it looks to about 15-20 years old, he said it was sitting in his basement covered for like 13 years.

compare it to the dimensions on all glass or oceanic aquariums, should be in the neighborhood of 40 gallons

Is your tank similar in shape to this? My system is called a DAS system (Dutch aquarium system). It had a box in the back with 3 chambers, but I have since removed this. My tank was about 13 years old as well, and was a popular brand that I think really didnt end up going anywhere. You cant get the replacement parts.
