Still have a long list to complete before water goes in the tank. I've hung most of the drywall and have done most of the electrical. Bathroom plumbing is next. I've picked the flooring for the basement bath and TV/tank room. What do you think?
With a wood sub floor I'd go with the bamboo. I'd worry about sitting a tank on tile with a wooden sub floor below. Could get enough flex to crack a tile.

love the bamboo. The tile is also nice, is it slate or ceramic?
Due to the bend in the bottom right picture, I think it is a laminate.
The flooring is vinyl. Putting 5/8 dryfloor down first. The bamboo is actually harder than oak! It is going on top of a thin pad much like one for laminate except the pad is super sticky on one side. It is the only way to install T&G on concrete. It actually becomes a floating floor. www.elastilon.com
