Do any of you all have any of it in your tanks? Please if so do you have pictures of it? I( have seen pictures on websites but if I was making my living of the stuff I would only show the best pieces as well. I wanna see some of the stuff before I decide if I want to order it off the net.
Thanks

I got it, and it was nice. I don't have any pics, but a word, he ships it wrapped in newspaper. I put this in a tub of saltwater after I got as much of the newspaper off, this will help get most of it off before you put it in the tank.

SO is it some of the best stuff you have ever seen or is it just nice? I seen a few pieces in a LFS store when I went out of town a few weeks ago but they wanted $15 a lb. Who in the hell can afford that? I know I cant so I guess I will have to get mine online.

I had a place nearby that got rock unlike anywhere else. This stuff was amazing, I was hoping that the stuff from fla was the same, but it wasn't as good. I would say that it is somewhere between what I got from my lfs and what you normally see in lfs (fiji rock).
The best part is that you get some colors you won't get from fiji rock. The really deep purple velvet looking stuff, some orange sponge, and some of the pink coraline algea. I had a few mullosks on the on the rocks, and a snail tagged along also.
I had a lot of die off right away. So most of the colors are gone now. But I'm starting to see some new algea growth the past two weeks. It really does spread fast. I'm having to clean the glass every other day. I'm rambling...

I live near the place that harvest the FL LR. Every once in a while I'll go in there and pick up a really neat peice of rock. At first there is some die off but in time most of it will come back. I've gotten peices w/ things that I'll probably never figure out what they are. Sometimes I find peices w/ different corals on them.

Actualy I bought it from gulfview. The rock was amazing and came along with tons of life forms(small brain, feather dusters, sponges, etc.) The thing about aquacultured lr is that it is denser than other lr. I personaly like this lr better than others because of the amount of life but more importantly because it helps preserve our reefs. I purchased over 60lbs of the premo-deco for 5.99 lb and highly recommend it.

How does the weight of aquacultured rock compare to Fiji? I was wondering if I would need more if I bought the aquacultured rock.
