Florida condi

I have a Florida condi, it's been in the tank about 2 weeks. It stays in one spot for about two days then moves to a new spot. It eats every day, and its arms are always out with bright pink tips. I'm thinking its not happy so it keeps moving. Today I can't really see it but all its arms are sticking through the rocks. Can I move it, it is so pretty when I can see it. I want to move it Thanks
:help: :happyfish :jumping:

Moving it will be useless, because it will just move around again soon. I don't keep them anymore due to mine loved crawling in the filter intake, and kept stinging my shrooms to death. It's a shame because they are very attractive!

No. I've never heard of a clown hosting a condy. Again it's a shame because they seem so durable and are good looking, however they seem too be more of a nucience than there attractiveness.

They can eat fish, how old is this tank and what type of lighting do you have? What are all your water parameters including alkalinity? What size tank? No...do not move it.

yes they can be hosted but not very often and since they are aggressive they have been known to eat your fish.....i know of a couple cases where people have gotten true percs to host them.......however i had one in my tank and it ended up eating a small true perc that i had.....i believe the fish was not well though
I wouldn't bother moving it...it will just move again...i manually moved mine a few times and eventually got it to stay in one place

I have a 46 gallon bow tank, all tests are perfect. I do a 15 gallon water change once a month. I have two 55 watt U shaped flourescent bulbs, and a 15 watt blue bulb. It seems very healthy, today it took the tweezers I feed it with instead of the food.
