I normally go and visit relatives in the Fort Myers area and this year have thought about an inexpensive way to bring some live rock back to Indiana for my 125 I'm setting up soon. I'm sure there are laws against removing things like that from local waters but maybe some members here that reside there can set me straight on this or an inexpensive source there.
Thanks

You can't aquaculture live rock.......it has to come from somewhere. Unless someone makes there own rock with concrete mixed with aragonite, then their rock is from a reef somewhere.
As far as the law goes, you would have to contact local authorities.

Well you can take rock from florida waters. But remember that they don't let you keep a tank in prison. But Bubba is going to want to do deep water diving with you.
I want to sincerely apologize if I have hurt the feelings of any Bubbas here. The name was chosen randomly and no insult was intended.
