Florida or Gulf Live Rock

Anyone have any suggestions for what to look for as far as unwanted or bad organisms that might come on this uncured live rock? The rock itself is beautiful. I is coved with purple and pink coraline algae. Would I be correct in assuming that the orange stuff is coraline as well? Anyone want to give me an idea of what you have found in your tank that hitch-hiked along on your Florida uncured live rock?
Thanks in advance.

The Orange stuff is an encrusting sponge.
Bad hitchhikers (my opinion) include:
Any crab except for Mithrax or Porcelain crabs
Mantis Shrimp
buccinid whelk
Monilospira Snail
Horse Conch
Cirolanid Isopod
Nemertea Worm

Encrusting sponge? I guess it is dead since it is shipped out of water? Thanks for the reply.
Bank Guy: You are in western NY? Buffalo or Rochester maybe? Any chance you steelhead, salmon, brown trout fish up there?

Yep, Western NY. I'm kinda between Buffalo and Rochester.
I prefer Brook Trout. One of the overlooked species that is actually native to this area. But I won't turn down a meal of Rainbow :D

Yeah, I am a brookie fan, as you can or can't see from the photo under my username. We have excellent brookie populations here. I fly fish for the big boys while I am visiting my in-laws in Rochester. Email me if you know of any good places to fish other than Sandy and Oak Orchard and you don't mind giving up the locations.

ROFL!!!
I didn't even notice your avatar OMG that's so funny! Proud to know a fellow Brookie fan :D
I'm not a fan of the big boys, but I won't hold that against you. I know a few good rainbow spots but they're all pan sized, nothing big. Usally a 1/4 mile of wading at you're at your limit if you're flyfishing.
