hey guys any help would be greatly appreciated...this sounds bad an i feel like an idiot..i have a simple 24 inch flourescent strip and in oticed some gashes in the cord months ago but i am a moron and never sealed them now today they got wet and made a popping sound and the light went out. It sounded like it blew something. I cut out the crappy section of cord and spliced it back together sealing it this time. now when i turn it on there is a little white cylinder underneath the hood beside the bulb that gets really white and not much lite at all comest through the bulb except on the ends. the bul isnt shot cuz i tested it on another strip..i just need to know what i need to replace..thanks!!!!
