flow in a big tank

how do u get a good flow in a big tank? ne big tanks owners can help me how do u return the water into ur tank?(not what pump but how does it get into ur tank)

Yo t, Im gonna have a closed loop and the returns from the sump will be through the overflows. No, it STILL is not set up yet. You know anyone who can do some drywall in that room?

Right now, Id just be happy to get the walls behind the tank done to get it in there and up and running....
My tank has the dual overflows built in(each has an intake and an outflow) and two additional bulkheads drilled already. The two additional holes are located in the bottom of tank in the back near each overflow. Perfect for a closed loop. I think Im gonna have a Iwaki pump with over 1000 gph. Gotta do a bit more research. Did you start building yet?

yeah im waiting on the aryclic that i need. and with the drywall if i can find some time i could help y do that i work construction.

i hear yaabout looking at an empty tank im doing the same thing at my house cause i havent finished my tank yet ill email u to let u know what goning on.also what fish store do u go to around here?
