Well I booted up the 90 gal today and my parents are not impressed. Nor am I. The pumps are quiet and that is good, but the drain to the sump is making a racket. I find that the less gph going through the drain the quieter it is. Are there any tips on how to quiet this down. I need a silencer for the drain.

Describe your drain for us. Don't worry, this can be fixed pretty much no matter what your setup is.

The overflow box is custom made. It is about 3 inches deep and 6 wide with teeth on the top. It seems to be working great, I dont hear a gurgle. 1 inch pipe runs out the back of the tank and elbos a couple of times before it reaches the sump. It lands in a 5x5 section of the sump with big teeth in the bottom. The pipe does go under the water level. This area is what is making all the noise.

I am just a visual person it's hard for me to picture setups from descriptions sometimes.
The one thing I see is your darin has several turns in it? Turns can be a source of noise....

well I guess I could switch to flex pipe. The main thing is the splashing, bubling noise I get in the sump. It sounds like the water is dropping from 3 feet up but it isnt :/

Can you put the end of the flex underwater?
No chance of a pic, is there? I know that's easier said than done with plumbing.

well I will take a pic tomorrow. after doing some research on google I found that some people had luck puting an air release right before it drops into the sump. Like a tee. One end goes into the sump with the water and the other end goes up and lets air out the end. I think I will try this tomorrow. Worth a shot.

take a piece of airline tube the 1/4 in stuff and stick it down the drain and move it up and down, it will take some time to find the sweet spot that will make it run silent
another thing to try is the hofer gurgle buster, i use this on my eshopp over flow and its completely silent not sure if this will work for your set up, but I love it i cant hear anything from my overflow

I assume the end of your drain line is below the water level, if so try moving it so that it exits right at the water line or a little above. If it is still splashing to much put a filter sock over the end of the drain and it will contain the splashing.

I changed most of the drain to flexable pipe. This helped alot with the sound. Now the only sound I hear is a sort of "waterfall" sound from the remaining pvc. I have a little bit of hard pipe at the overflow and a little where it goes into the sump. Is the waterfall noise normal? Here is tank that I found on youtube (not my own tank) that sounds alot like mine. I think mine is a little quieter but not much.
