flow questions

i have a 75 gallon tank and i need help woth flow. my situation is that i have lps like brains and a bubble and they require little to no flow. how could i direct my powerhead (vortech mp20) so that it reaches the wholw tank, just weaker in some places more than others?
one thought i had was putting it on the back of the tank, but im not sure if this will diminish the flow any?

I would just play with it in a few locations to see where it does the best. Just watch for dead spots.

Up high or behind the rocks? If you are thinking up high I would try it.

good news. i found a spot in the tank with little flow for the lps

ill keep you posted on how they do when the lights turn on

Hopefully you will be able to balance the tank enough for those low flow SPS and the other things in the tank that like more flow. I know that was a constant struggle for me so I set up a second tank to do SPS in and am in the process of redoing the flow in my 75 for LPS. I've already noticed an improvement in my bubble and fox coral and I'm not even done with thte project. Stil need to redo the return from one outlet to four to spread the flow more evenly through the tank.
