Flower pot coral.....

Has anyone had any luck with flower pot corals? I have one that has been in my tank for over a month now and has still not extended itself at all. It is still alive...I can see the tentacles at the surface of the skeleton, but it will not open up. I've tried moving it to different areas of the tank....but nothing seems to help. All my water parameters are good, and I have 250 watts of MH lighting.
Any thoughts?

I have 2 that are doing great. Low flow and medium light tends to make them happy. What are you feeding them?

Just bought mine about a week ago and it extended fully the first day in the tank.
I filter feeding the tank with Zoplan, etc. and the little polyps seem to grab the food but Im not sure if its 'eating' . Im also dripping Kalk nonstop to keep up with my LPS's calcium sucking.
Someone said something about adding magnesium? I dunno. I add an essential elements blend, iodine, iron, kalk. There is an informative site about these corals but it doesnt say anything about supplements.
I think they are gorgeous and I was very nervous about getting one, but I went for the plunge.
Any advice on what care is being given, by someone with sucess with this coral would be great.
