fluidized bed filter??

I am thinking about adding a fluidized bed filter to my tank, probably a Rainbow Lifegard. I don't know much about them, but have veard great things. I was wondering if anyone would let me know about their experiences with them and which brands/models work the best.

Thanks for all of the info Sea Wraith, I will deffinately be adding a fluidised bed filter to my aquarium within the summer. I was looking for a good way to add some more biological filtration to my system and it seems that this would be the perfect fit.
