Flukes come in 2 forms, external and internal, and there are several species. Hiding, rapid breathing discoloration are common symptoms of fish infested with flukes.
Several treatment options can be used including: copper and FW dips with or wo malachite/formalin. Flukes normally do not present as the contagious plague that you find in ick and velvet, and many flukes are specific to particular fish species.

I have a maroon clown for about 5 months, he survived my tank crashing 2 months ago. He seems to get these white bumps on him, I thought at one time it was a piece of dead coral on him. It sticks out on his body. I thought he poked himself. It just came back about a week ago. This time he had more. It is larger than ich in size.
He does not seem effected by it, he swims, eats, all normal. Does this sound like fluke worm?
Thanks Gen
