I'm not sure about which one you are talking about but I have a Fluval 304 canister on my saltwater...I believe it is rated for a 75..I have it on a 55 and LOVE it. If you have a petsmart around, go to their website and print off the price online (i believe somewhere around 109 bucks) then take that sheet in and ask them to price match...they are much more expensive in the store.
I also have a Fluval 204 on a turtle tank.....its great!
I have heard some previous Fluvals are not as good and that the in tank ones aren't so great.

fishboy try a emperor 400 if you are looking for that kind they are nice, they have bio wheels the biological filtration, the carbon the chemical, and the mesh for the mechanical. They are nice people have good results with them but depends on your tanks size. Plus you should try what dmm said you can get a great price break with online price matching.

ohh and by the way im in houston as well, sugar land like 5 mins away from southwest houston.
