do u hear the motor goin? are the tubes connected correctly? make sure all your parts are secure.
never run the system without water in it(pumped inside). once u believe it is full leave it on for a few minutes it may need some time to get goin. patiece is key.

Ok...here is what is going on...
Everything fills fine, the only thing is that there is an air pocket in the tube in the tank. I prine it and the level just goes up and down...
Motor is fine, tubes are connected good...this is getting a little frustrating...

Ok...it is running...but...not a lot of output pressure is this right...how fast does the water run out??? <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

Are your tubes kinked or crooked at all? I have Fluval 404 & it is a PITA to start back up despite the self-priming. I've found if you hold the tubes straight (not crooked, etc) while the water is going into the canister, it will start up right away. By doing it this way, I found out you don't really even need to use the primer. I've also heard of people tipping it upside down for a few seconds so gravity to kick in .........
