FMAS meeting in Ft. Lauderdale

hey everyone in south florida-
the FMAS (florida marine aquarium society) has a meeting tuesday, nov. 28 th @ 7:00 (i think - it's either that or 7:30). They meet the 4th tuesday of every month at the New River Middle School in Ft. Lauderdale. the address is 3100 Riverland Road. admission is free. membership for the year costs $15. they have monthly speakers q&a panels, fish/coral auctions, frag swaps, field trips, and even set up tank tours.

are there no groups that meet in Miami?

this is the for the south florida area. there are several members in the club that are from miami. members run from west palm area through miami. i'm sure there are others.

all meetings are held in ft. lauderdale which close to 2 hours away from me with traffic. is there a possibility of hosting a meeting in Miami or do the Miami folks have an interest in also getting together down south?

2hrs? where are you? i can be in key largo from west palm within 2 hrs?!?!?!

I am near Metrozoo...driving the turnpike from down south in rush hour traffic is a nightmare.
