foam under the tank

Ok, I built my own stand and it is a tiny bit...warped. hehe.

I am talking millimeters here. So I need some sort of foam to put under the tank so the bottom glass doesn't break under any stress. My question is: what foam? I am new to foam shopping among other things.

Exterior house styrofoam insulation board available at any hardware store cheap. just cut it the same dimension as bottom of tank. This will distribute weight evenly.

+ 100...
I would not use wood shims, but rather the blue insulation foam board available at Home Depot or Lowe's. A shim will level it out, but only cause more stress in the unsupported areas, whereas the foam sheeting will distribute the weight evenly along the entire bottom. You won't regret this little bit of work later on....
