Folks.. Q on timers, mh's and power outages

Just curious to find out when the power outages occcur for instance and simply last for say...1 minute and the power returns.
Well based on the reccomendations it states on my coralife ballasts and I am sure it applies to any for that matter to keep lights off for at least 5 minutes before turning them back on. What are the experiences others have had and is there any harm done if they do return rapidly?

I have coralife 2x175 w and its happened to me 3 or 4 times and the lbulbs/ballats are fine

Once the power comes back on the ballast will start back up, but the bulb will not light for another few minutes. I haven't noticed anything wrong with my ballasts from that.

Thanks guys.... I was just worried about any ill effects with regards to the bulb going bad.. Appreciate it
