followup to "help this algae is taking over"

Went to the pet store yesterday to look for a phospahate sponge and purchased phosgard by Seachem. Any one have experience with this?

Yea I use phosguard, It seems to work fairly well. I will leave mine in place for 7 days, then recheck levels and replace if necessary, directions say 4 days.
How much did you pay for what size container?

I don't remember what size it was. I paid 28 bucks for the container and the bag to put it in. I did not buy the largest size container though if that helps.

small one is 600g (1.3 lbs) cost 21.99 at my lfs. Haven't ordered it on line yet.

I used the sea chem phosguard too, it worked well with some other techniques too.
