food for fish

I have one puffer, one hippo tang and one maroon clown.
I feed the puffer a medium size shrimp once a day and feed the other two fish either frozen brine, mysis or marine cuisine. Plus I give the hippo at least one sampling of algae sheet a day.
I would like to spend a little less on food each day. Does anyone reccomend a flake food for everyother day or something ?

some eat pellets. you could also breed freshwater snails for your puffer. really easy to do.
