Any recommendations on what i should feed a cleaner shrimp? Also my feather duster, should i feed him phytoplankton a few times a week to keep him happy?

Feather dusters really require no feeding as long as you have live sand and rock. If you are still nervous, you can put in about 1ml of phtoplankton per week, but no more.
The cleaner shrimp will eat any uncooked, unseasoned seafood you buy at the grocery store. Its cheaper that way and you can freeze your supply.

My cleaner shrimp begs every time I walk by the tank, and thinks it should be hand fed. In my expereince it will go after any food that I drop into the tank- mysis, flake, pellet etc.

I agree. The feather duster is a very beautiful critter that really doesn't get the respect it deserves in the hobby. I think no marine tank is complete without at least one large duster.

Thats a very nice-looking feather duster. Yours is colored a lot more interestingly than mine is. Mine is one shade of light brown with a couple of white bands around the feathers.
Nice tank too. :)

Thanks. Anything you would suggest from the grocery store that he might like. I feel bad everytime i go over to the tank and comes running to the glass and begs. :D

My duster is also a light brown with white bands. I have had it doe about 4 months and it appears to have 2 heads. Yesterday morning I noticed little white clouds, looked puffs of smoke, coming out of the duster on and off for about 20 minutes. Anyone know what this is?............Thanks.
