Romaine lettuce is wonderful, and any other leafy type of green. Make sure you give them some meat as well....they will eat it.

I feed my PB regular flakes and formula one flakes and he absolutely loves them. A few times a week I soak the flakes in garlic one time and selcon vitamins the next. This adds to the nutritional value and taste of his diet. Also my PB loves Seaweed Selects (all varieties) in addition to Nori. In reference to the Romaine Lettuce, although many fish love to eat it, it holds almost no nutritional value at all. I remember when I had my Naso Tang that he'd go crazy over the romaine but it was as if his body coulnd't digest it because it went right through his system and there I was skimming the top of the tank for small shreds of lettuce. I also forgot to mention that every now and then my PB will take a few frozen brine or bloodworms. Good Luck~!

The reason the Romaine is good, or so I have heard, is because it can act as roughage (however spelled), and because of its nutritional value. Oh well, maybe I was living a lie :)
