Food ??'s

Just wondering what everyone feeds their fish...... I'm closer to setting up my tank and eventually I'll need to buy food (right now I can't wait to see water in my tank!!) What's the best kind? I read flake food is not good enough?

I have a food prosesor and I go to the local bait shop for fresh fish and shrimp and what ever else floats my boat grind it all up and put it in a bad to feed my fish. They love it and its alot healthier than the stuff you get at the LFS for a fraction of the cost.

live bait?? after it's chopped up you just throw it in the tank? about how much? that's a good idea!

about the same as a cube of frozen food you get at the lfs. I just take a pinch and tear it out the bag while it iss frozen still put it in a shot glass and fill the glass with plankton zoo or phyto and let the food thaw. then stir it up to break it up good and dump it in
