I brought a powder brown tang home and when I was looking at it in the store looked great nice fish eating well. Got it home put it in the QT and seen ich so I started hypo. My ?? is when im at the end of treating can I use my display water when I do water changes to bring the salt back up in the QT or should I use new salt/water? Thanks

is your tank sitting fallow?
if youre positive that your display is ich free, there is no problem using display to bring it back up.
if not, just top off with new saltwater until ur back to your sg

You certainly can. And that's the best think to do since the fish will be going to the display tank. You should be able to reduce acclimation.
Of course, new water will need to go to display.
