for fish only tank with few soft corals ?sump or refugiums?

I have tank (150) g and about 125 + Of live rock with fish only and few corals what is best a wet/dry or a big refugiums ?

If I had to go with one, I would say the refugium. JMO

I would say the BEST thing would be to make a Sump/Fuge out of a 30-55 gal tank

I made a nice sump/fuge from a 29 gal tank with a little research from this site and it came out great. Mechanical filtration to start, and biological at the end.... get the best of both worlds

I bought a refugium and I made a sump with the following in it
1. protain skimmer
2.live rock (1 rock 25 lbs )
3.carbon,phos guard
4.mirco algea
5.96 watt cf light
Not sure if I should add live sand in the sump ? any ideas or this set up is good ..............feed back please .............

i have t o totally agree with everyone on this one from experience i say refuge/sump i run 2 of my tanks with wet dries they do ok on filtering ect but im soo tired of daily top ofs.i set up a 150 gal with a 125 refuge and i get to top it off once a week so much nicer

As soon as you put corals in it, it is no longer a FO tank, IMO

If you are adding corals and basically keeping community type fish, I think a refugium is good.
If you decide to go the other way and go with predators....I would personally go with the wet/dry.
